BitEditor v5.0 is now available on the App Store.
BitEditor v5.0 is now available on the App Store.
With this update, BitEditor has been redesigned as a universal app. You can now use it not only on iPhone, but also on iPad and Mac.
BitEditor originally began as a project to make text editing on your smartphone more comfortable. Use your iPhone when you’re on the go, and switch to your iPad or Mac when you want more space to focus. Our goal is to give you a simple editing environment where you can open and edit your text whenever you need it, wherever you are.
On iPad and Mac, BitEditor now takes advantage of the larger screen with a two-pane layout. You can view and edit two files side by side, or work on a file while viewing its preview at the same time. Keyboard controls are also supported, allowing you to quickly access a variety of actions through the command palette.
“Anytime, Anywhere.”
With BitEditor v5.0, those words now truly reflect what BitEditor was designed to be: an editor that lets you work with your text anytime, anywhere.
